I bought my 1st one of these specifically for a knee problem. When sleeping on my side, the knee on top of the lower knee would cause the lower knee to have terrific pain from the upper knee pressure. I mention this because any one of these including this one would have solved that problem. However, there were other important and unforeseen advantages that I noticed including better digestion and easier breathing in bed. For side sleepers these knee pillows are terrific as they place your entire body in better alignment for sleep. In order to get the absolute best results it is important to get one that has the right thickness and firmness to position your legs and spine in a parallel position. This particular one is on the smaller side and is very soft compared to the larger, firmer and more expensive one I started with. I believe it is better suited to smaller people with narrower hips. If that is your type it should be great for you. It comes with a pretty thin but breathable cover secured by a zipper that makes it removable for washing. It has a strap to go around one leg which sounds like a good idea but I found it to be a nuisance and unnecessary. No problem you can simply choose not to use it if you want as it does not get in the way. At $30 this is one of the least expensive ones on Amazon and is a bargain. It would be a good purchase for any type person as the benefits are universal. However, if you are a larger size person a more expensive one might buy you a better cover and higher quality foam. It did for me.

For years, I've used an extra pillow and/or throw blanket in my bed to support my knees and keep my legs in a more comfortable position. This works up to the point I switch to the other side and have to move everything over, underneath the covers. Another problem is heat retention and airflow in the summer. I tried this out hoping to streamline things and so far, so good. It costs about the same as a pillow/sham/case combination and is much more maneuverable. The cover is easily comes off and it squishes down enough for travel if need be. The pillow itself looks/feels/smells like common latex-based memory foam. This is great except for the initial smell (I've come across this numerous times in other products). I expect it to out-gas for a few more days and then disappear. If it doesn't I'll report back. This is a one-size product and I'm a bigger than one-size guy. Lumberjack-sized would be a nice addition. Worth the money to me, even if it only lasts a year. I'm getting a second one for the cottage.

Omg!! I am so glad I got this pillow. I am a side sleeper and the aches and pains of moving around became a bit much. The first time i used it noticed a significant reduction in aches and pains. Get this pillow if you are a side sleeper, you will be amazed at the difference.
